Tenax Proseal is suitable to protect granite against practically all potential kitchen stain causing items: coffee, wine, oil, peanut butter, mustard, ketchup, soda, etc. This impregnating sealer also works well with polished, honed, brushed, matte, finishes.
  • Suitable for Porous Materials. Tenax Proseal fills the pores and seals these very porous stones and protects the stone from oil and water stains better than any other stone sealer for porous material.
  • Can Be Used on Grout. Proseal premium stone sealer works very well on grout. Apply Proseal to grout and test it by putting any liquid on the selaed surface. It will bead up like you just waxed your car!
  • Indoor & Outdoor Applications. Outstanding for Indoor and outdoor applications, Proseal is recommended for stone that will be exposed to wet conditions such as showers, patios, outside bars, pool copings, pavers, etc.
  • Appearance and Duration. Tenax Proseal does not change the natural colors of the stone and allows the stone to breathe without leaving a film on the surface. The protection will last up to 4-5 years if the product is applied correctly on the surface and areas that are not under direct wear and use.

Instruction for use:

Sealing natural stone surfaces with the  Tenax Proseal Stone Sealer is simple and easy. All you need to do is simply following these steps:

  1. If this is the first application of Proseal, be sure to test the sealer on an inconspicuous section of the material.
  2. Clean the entire surface of the area to be treated using an approved cleaner for natural stone.
  3. Thoroughly dry the cleaned surface.
  4. Spread Tenax Proseal evenly with brush, sponge, cloth or spray gun until surface no longer absorbs product.
  5. After a few seconds buff with a clean cloth.
  6. Any excess of Tenax Proseal creates superficial glossy and sticky films so any excess must be removed immediately after the application.
  7. Repeat after 10-15 minutes.
  8. Wait 24 hours to allow the stone to dry and reach 100% protection.
  9. Do not walk on floor for 24 hours.

One liter of Proseal treats approximately 215-323 sq. ft depending on the porosity of the stone.

Application Temperature:
The suggested application temperature for ProSeal is 50°-95°F. The ideal temperature for application is 68°-77°F. Above 95°F will pose a problem due to increased evaporation.

Shelf Life:
This product will last at least 1 year if kept between 65° and 77°. Keep away from heat, humidity and sunlight.

WARNING: Proseal does not provide anti-etch protection on marble surfaces. Use of acidic substances such as wine, tomato, citrus, coffee, etc. will etch the surface by creating a chemical reaction with the calcium carbonate present in marbles. For etching problems please use Etch Remover.
