Roberts 8015-A Solvent Free Universal Carpet Seam Sealer (8 oz.)

Roberts 8015 is a solvent free adhesive for seaming carpet edges to prevent unraveling and/or delamination of carpet backings and yarns, and to repair bubbles in installations. Use on glue-down, direct stick and conventional stretch -in installations. Use with polypropylene, jute, urethane, latex unitary and woven backed carpets.

Roberts 8015-A Universal Carpet Seam Sealer Features:

• For seaming carpet edges to prevent unraveling and delaminating
• May also be used to repair bubbles in existing installations
• Compatible with most carpet and carpet backings, including polypropylene, jute, urethane latex, unitary, woven-backed and vinyl-backed carpet
• Can be used in direct and double bond installations
• For use on glue down, direct stick and conventional stretch-in installations
• UV tracers for easy detection with UV light sources
• Up to 10 minutes open time and 12 to 24 hours curing time
• Covers up to 660 linear ft.
• Depending on the exact installation, required tools include an applicator bottle or a wide gauge syringe, both for applying a 1/8 in. bead
• Enviro-friendly, solvent-free and LEED compliant; VOC less than 1 g/L, SCAQMD Rule 1168
• Protected by GoldGuard, an antimicrobial protection system that inhibits the growth of mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria in both wet and dry adhesives
• Non-flammable for safe use
• Not recommended for seaming vinyl flooring
