If a mat or cable system requires more than 15 Amps, install MasterHeat Relays. The 500880 MasterHeat Thermostat Relay connects directly to MasterHeat thermostats for simple control of larger systems. The MasterHeat 500850 and 500875 thermostats can accommodate up to 10 relays. The 500880 Relay is compatible with the MasterHeat ConnectPlus Thermostat, and SunTouch SunStat ConnectPlus Thermostat.

can I hook 2 81012096 cables to one thermostat either with or without a relay? thanks
Yes, as long as you do not go over the recommended Amps of the Thermostat. If you download the User Manual from our cable product page and look at table 5 on page 9 of the manual this will help. Also there is a chart on the product page of length of cable and it's total amp draw. Give us a call if you have any doubt and we can help you check.
Can I connect a 500850SB thermostat to the 500880BB Relay ?
Yes, both of these will run on a 120v or 240v system.
