The Masterboard Tileable Shower Niche offers a sleek and functional storage solution for shower essentials while maintaining complete waterproofing.
Features:
- Fabricated from Masterboard Tile Backers
- Can be cut and customized to fit any size project
- Strong and sturdy, but lightweight
- Installation procedure maintains waterproofing of shower wall
- Installed between 2" x 4" wall studs that are spaced 16" on center, using Masterboard Joint Sealant or other suitable silicone based sealant applied between and along edges of wall panels and niche. Fastener points and seams are topically waterproofed with joint sealant or sealing tape.
- Easy Installation – Installs between standard wall studs
Note: We recommend using Masterboard washers and fasteners in the transition seams between the niche and wall panel to create a flush transition and maintain fastening of the wall panel every 12 in. on the wall framing stud.
